With its snow-topped mountains and stunning rivers and lakes, northern Patagonia offers an exceptional experience with some of the finest dry fly fishing in South America.
Trout flourish in these nutrient rich crystal clear rivers and lakes between Bariloche and San Martin. It teems with brown and rainbow trout and landlocked salmon can be found. This diverse river system is very productive with its classic riffles and pools which can lure trophy trout includes great rivers such as the Malleo, Traful, Chimehuín, Aluminé, Collón Cura and Limay.
Most of the best waters are on private estancias protected by large tracks of land offering you the chance to explore and experience off the beaten track rivers and lakes.

If you want to travel light, our outfitters provide top quality kit including waders, boots, rods, reels, lines and flies.
We work closely with a number of select lodges in the region and recommend staying in two to three locations during your stay. Choose between private estancias, purpose built contemporary or rustic fishing lodes or a superbly stylish boutique hotel. You will experience Argentinian hospitality at its best with superb cuisine and local wines.
Alternatively, experience a float trip over several days along remote rivers and camp in a different spot each night with your private chef.
Some estancias offer non fishing partners experiences such as riding with Gauchos in the foothills of the Andes, hiking with naturalists, kayaking and shopping in Bariloche and the charming town, Sant Juan de los Andes.
